Brett Tippie
“Live your life, like you want to remember it!”
When Tippie started mountain biking in 1983, most of us were still in diapers. Twelve years later, Tippie and his FRO Rider bros Wade Simmons and Richie Schley were among those pushing the limits and driving the sport of freeride forward. They cared not for lycra and race results, they were ringing in a new era of mountain biking. Tippie loves to showcase his style on steep, technical descents and the flowy turns of Vancouver, Squamish, Kamloops and the Sun Peaks Bike Park. Anybody who meets him is always carried away by his infectious positive attitude and his laughter. The Director of Good Times has finally come home.

Setup
Tippie rides a large CAPRA, TUES and JEFFSY 29. He likes a big, soft front tire and a slightly harder rear tire on wide rims. He runs his suspension medium stiff with medium slow rebound and likes his brake levers set in from the grips and angled up a bit from normal so he can reach them easily when things don’t go to plan.
