„YT makes products proven at the highest level that are affordable for people like me to get into the sport and find their young talent.“
Dakotah comes from Flint, Michigan and rode BMX in college, which eventually led him to Downhill racing by way of Dual Slalom. Neko Mulally become Dak’s mentor from an early age and supported him during the races, which saw Dakotah secure his first World Cup podium in Croatia in 2018. 2019 was also looking good until an injury forced him to take a break and subsequently work his way back up to speed again. We are convinced that this coffee nerd, who now lives in Knoxville, Tennessee, will achieve the goals he has set for himself and we are stoked to have him be part of the YT Family.
For racing World Cup Downhill my TUES will be set up to go one speed, wide open. My Fox 40 is sensitive off the top for traction, but progressive enough to handle the big holes and compressions. I run pretty high rise Renthal handlebars, I feel this helps me stand up and be centered over the bottom bracket keeping my weight between both wheels for consistent traction.
