Sian A'Hern

Already as a small girl, Sian competed in motocross and traveled around Australia with her family. In 2015 she decided to switch to mountain biking and shortly thereafter, she entered her first downhill race in Thredbo. The following year saw Sian take part in her first Junior World Cup - which she won!

Her progress didn't stop there as despite a few serious injuries she was able to achieve more success, including winning two national championships and even the overall Junior World Cup in 2016.

Today she has this to say about mountain biking: "The mountain bike really allowed me to find myself, make lifelong friends, develop a rad lifestyle and in general have a great time. I have had incredible experiences traveling to so many different places and countries. It still seems unreal to me that I get to do what I love every day!"

I am not one for a beer, but love ginger beer or any sweet drinks, I have a sweet tooth!

I prefer my suspension setup quite fast and playful, I love just feeling the flow and getting my wheels off the ground! My usual tire pressure is 24 PSI up front and 27 PSI out back, can't pass up a Maxxis Minion DHR II front and rear set up! Honestly as long as I am comfortable on my bike I don’t really fuss over the set up, at the end of the day I'm riding my bike and I am happy when I am doing that - and if I am happy I am always riding my best!!
